Don’t Forget The Groom
Tuesday, July 27th, 2010When planning a wedding, most brides tend to think me, me, me. And why not? Most girls start planning their wedding day the first time they hear the story of Cinderella. It’s in the genes. So it’s easy to forget about the poor groom. If he wants to be involved in the planning, let him! After all, he’s the one who had to hock his Harley to buy you that diamond ring. If not, at least he gets to have some fun.
His Big Night
Most guys approach their wedding day, knowing that they will be playing the second fiddle. To make up for that, the groom gets a single night that is all about him. His bucks night. The stereotypical image of the drunken bachelor party full of strippers and half-naked shenanigans has many brides feeling threatened. But not every bachelor party ends with the groom handcuffed to a traffic pole. There comes a time when you will simply have to trust the man you’re marrying. And on this occasion you can trust his best man. After all, he’s the one making the arrangements for the big night.
