There are countless factors that go into planning a successful wedding. Now that you have the ring, how do you get started? Here are a few important factors that can get the ball rolling.
Where you’re going to have your ceremony and reception will effect many other choices, so you should start with this. Keep in mind how many guests you think you’ll be having to be sure that your location can accommodate them all.
Budgeting, while not the most fun part, is crucial to the success of your event. Without budgeting you risk running out of money on luxuries before you’ve paid for the essentials. Sit down with your groom and your families if they will be contributing and determine how much you can afford to spend.
Dress shopping is one of the most exciting parts of the wedding planning process. Try visiting several shops before you make any purchase to be sure you get what you like. This is one area that you can take a little time in, provided you make your choice early enough for alterations to be finished.

Choosing wedding favors can be and enjoyable part of the wedding planning that is easy and should be stress free. The wedding favors may be easy but that does not mean that they should be left until last if you want to avoid disappointment. If you are still thinking about this area then consider the ideas mentioned below.
Why not hire some large glass bowls from the caterers and place them in the centre of each table full of your favorite candy. You can then place cards inviting guests to help themselves and leave bags at each place setting so they can take some of the candy home when they leave. This easy wedding favor doesn’t need any wrapping or a special arrangement made but is still effective nonetheless.
If you prefer something non edible then why not try using small picture frames and use them for the place setting cards at each table. Normally when picture frames are used by couple at their wedding, they spend a great deal of time wrapping them beautifully but with this idea there is no need while still looking effective.

Wedding decisions: On one of the most important days of your life, it is next to impossible to sit down and decide what you will wear. In view of this notion, it makes sense to prepare. Preparing helps you to stay in control of your senses. On the day the wedding arrives, you will have laid out your plans. Things will go smoothly. However, if you have not plan, well I guess then you can rely on a few helpful tips in what you should wear at a wedding. What do I wear?
First, you want to consider what time the wedding will take place. Next, you want to think about the crowd. If the wedding is conducted in daylight hours you want to consider informal wear. Perhaps you may prefer wearing the shorter garbs. You want to consider the crowd when you make your decision. If the crowd is wearing long dresses, then short garbs should be considered carefully, especially if you are participating at a traditional wedding. You may also prefer to wear a somewhat formal dress, which is short but long enough to sway unwarranted attention. Again, it depends on the wedding, crowd and style. Formal attire is great during daylight hours also. Perhaps you may chose a shorter garb equipped with gloves and hat.

When you have to give a speech at a wedding, a lot of people just freeze up, start to sweat, swallow hard, shake a little—–and that’s just the reaction to being asked to speak and agreeing to do it. What on earth is the big deal here. Getting up in front of a few people and making a toast to the health and well being of the happy couple is not that hard if you really mean what you are saying—–the words just come to you. If not, there are all kinds of sites on the Internet where you can get free wedding speech samples and work from there.
The first thing you have to do is get a grip on yourself, and remind yourself that you are not delivering a speech to a world assembly; you will be merely congratulating a wonderful couple who have just been married and asked you to be part of their day and the ceremony by making a little speech at the reception. Who cares if everyone is watching you and hanging on your every word; you are not standing up there naked, you look presentable, and you are not a threat—-so where’s the problem—go with the flow. If you want to make doubly sure that you won’t make a mistake, then check out some of these sites on the Internet that provide free wedding speech samples, and use them as a guide.

Weddings are a special and exciting time, not just for the bride and groom but for the guests of the wedding as well. In more recent times photographs have become cheaper and cheaper and leading to more people using photo album favors. Disposable digital wedding cameras have become cheaper as well and finding themselves on more and more reception tables. With some creative thinking a lot of cleaver uses have been thought up and used. Every bride and groom should take some time to think how they might be used at their wedding.
Every choice you will make about your wedding, besides your future spouse and your vows, involves money to some degree, even the wedding favors. Wedding photo albums provide the most choices of any of the favors. Prices can run from very affordable to quite elegant. Not only that but you can decide to match it to your theme or the wedding colors if you want. An album with sea shells will be great for a beach wedding but look rather funny at a Christmas wedding. Basically, if you can imagine it then you can find it in your budget.

Your wedding is an occasion that is extremely important and meaningful. Many couples have decided to make their wedding an eco-friendly occasion. This decision will allow you and your spouse to support and celebrate the planet, while celebrating your big day. In recent years, more and more people have awoken to the fact that the earth is a precious resource. Everyone has to do his or her part to protect and care for the earth.
There is no better time to make this statement than on your wedding day. Because of the fact that more and more companies are supporting eco-friendly practices, it is increasingly easy to make your wedding a green one.
If you can plan out the details ahead of time, it really is very easy to make all the planning stages of your wedding eco-friendly from start to finish. Take the wedding ring, for example. In 2004, Oxfam and EARTHWORKS launched The No Dirty Gold campaign. This campaign seeks to end irresponsible mining products. Already 25 different jewellery retailers have agreed to and endorsed the ?Golden Rules,? which are a set of conditions for responsible mining. It is now also possible to buy conflict-free diamonds. Selecting an eco-friendly wedding ring is a huge step in the right direction. When you and your spouse look at this ring for years to come, you will know you made a decision that did not harm the planet.
